Sacristy Extension: Consider to Donate Today a Gift to God

Source: St. Thomas More Priory

Back of the actual sacristy where the extension is to be built.

The actual sacristy is very narrow and needs an extension to receive four chapels and all the means to store properly the beautiful liturgical items needed for the liturgical ceremonies at the church.

Growth Demands Extension

We are uniquely blessed for having daily “the most sublime act of Christian prayer” (Archbishop Lefebvre), the holy Mass at our church in Sanford.

Our Priory opened in 2010 with three priests. Ten years later, the growth of the Floridian apostolate brought us five more priests. What most of us do not see is that having now eight priests means eight daily masses. Two poor altars have been added in inconvenient locations. It is insufficient and not worthy of the Good Lord Who must be better served.

Throughout the many crises, your eight priests at the Floridian Priory work hard to ensure the Catholic life for you. They travel every weekend on their missions to instruct, give the sacraments, visit the sick, and celebrate the Latin Liturgy. Back in the priory, they live together as a community and help each other to perform their religious duties, prayers, and studies.

Thank you very much! Our Community Rosary prayed in the church is offered daily for our benefactors.

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:7)

Toward a Bigger Church

The construction of these four chapels is a preparatory step in our plan to expand our church and to build our school, in order to better answer the needs of our growing community.

The Master Plan to increase our church and to build our school:

Phase One: construction of a parish hall and bathroom complex.

Phase Two: modification of the actual church to double the capacity of attendees.

Phase Three: construction of the school building: 6 classrooms in a two-story building.
