Dr. Xavior Dor, Called Back to God
Victim of the coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Xavier Dor died in Paris on Sat. April 4, 2020. He who had an admirable filial confidence in the Holy Virgin Mary, died on Passion Saturday, the first Saturday of the month. He will remain a great figure in the fight for life.
Xavier Dor was born on Jan. 30, 1929. After studying medicine, he specialized in embryology. In 1986, he founded the association SOS Tout-Petits (Little Ones in Danger), in which he worked with women who were candidates for abortion, in an effort to dissuade them. The press, which has a habit of manipulating words, will call him and his supporters “anti-abortion commandos.”
These interventions having met with some success, led to the establishment of the Neiertz, law in 1933, which created the offense of “obstructing the voluntary termination of pregnancy.” This new legislation did not prevent Dr. Dor from continuing his work, both for unborn children and for women who were also victims of this crime against God and His creation.
Dr. Dor was sentenced to heavy fines 11 times, and even to prison. The height of absurdity was when a lawyer condemned the “violence of slippers:” Dr. Dor had had the idea of presenting baby booties to a woman to help her understand the seriousness of abortion. A fervent Catholic, he organized living rosaries and distributed the miraculous medal to implore the help of the Most High.
He had a very endearing personality because of his extreme kindness, his perpetual smile, his selflessness, and his prestige. He remains an example of unwavering determination in the fight against the villainous laws that attack life in defiance of God and His law of love.
Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei ; Give him eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
